Luxurious chocolate processed EXCLUSIVELY for us so that we can create uniquely different and very special chocolate cups containing a true taste of CYPRUS, Spoon sweets, ’Zivania’ cream, Aphrodite Cream, Almond Glyco, Walnut Palouze and many others A TASTE UNIQUE TO APHRODITES ISLE. The chocolate workshop is the creation of Praxi and John Adams who live in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. Cyprus, more specifically their village of PLATRES, has become the centre of Praxi and John’s life. They realized that many of the uniquely Cypriot Mountain delicacies produced in Platres lent themselves to providing exciting and original fillings for their chocolates. Zivania cream, Kidromolo (bitter orange), and many of the other forms of Klyco (the Cypriot word for fruit and nuts preserved in a thick syrup), Platres Loukoumia (a local form of Cyprus—or Turkish—delight), Aphrodite Cream, (a chocolate designed for lovers as it contains honey, Royal Jelly and cream!), Walnut Palouze (walnut enveloped in a smooth aromatic dessert sweet made from concentrated grape juice), Cyprus coffee cream and many others. THESE FILLINGS MAKE THE CHOCOLATES UNIQUE AND TRULY A TASTE OF CYPRUS. Praxi and John spent months researching all the different kinds of chocolate available, going on courses in France and London to learn techniques and procedures and eventually decided on sourcing and using Venezuelan chocolate to create the stylish and very original chocolate cups used to highlight and enhance the flavour of those unique Cypriot centres. Each chocolate is carefully hand prepared (no mass production here!) and finished in full view of the public in the Workshop window. Some of the ingredients are seasonal so the variety changes with the season. Other products are produced according to demand. For example: CHOCOLATES EMBLAZONED WITH A NAME OR COMPANY LOGO. Ideal for CORPORATE GIFTS OR WEDDINGS. Because our chocolates are hand made, versatility in design and style is a resource readily available to us. Tell us your ideas and we will try to fulfil them for you. The Workshop is of course the main salesroom for our Cyprus Chocolates but Praxi is keen to promote the range of chocolates across the Island and is looking for other outlets. Retail sales are not the only market, WEDDINGS, HOTELS, CORPORATE OR BUSINESS GIFTS— there are many other markets and the chocolates are so unique and so luxurious , there is sure to be a big demand.
